This policy describes how Aptus LLC collects and handles information from visitors of aptusops.com. It does not describe how Aptus protects data belonging to our clients or their end users — that is covered in our Security & Privacy posture and in each client’s contract.
Who we are
Aptus LLC is a Virginia limited liability company that builds and operates managed software products for small and medium businesses. You can reach us at nima@aptusops.com.
What we collect
When you visit aptusops.com, our hosting provider receives standard server log data — your IP address, browser type, referring URL, the page you requested, and a timestamp. This is generated automatically for security and operational purposes.
We do not use analytics platforms, advertising trackers, or cookies for analytics, advertising, or visitor profiling on this site.
When you email us at nima@aptusops.com, we receive whatever you put in the email — your email address, name (if provided), and message content.
Why we collect it
Server logs help us secure the site, debug problems, and confirm the site is reachable. Email contents are used to respond to your inquiry and to keep an ordinary business record of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell visitor data. We do not share it for third-party marketing. We do not use it to build profiles.
Who else processes it
The only third party that handles passive website visit logs is Vercel, our hosting provider, which stores server logs on standard United States-based infrastructure.
Email correspondence sits in our standard email infrastructure (Google Workspace on the aptusops.com domain).
We use commercially reasonable safeguards and rely on Vercel and Google Workspace security controls for hosting and email.
For a list of all sub-processors Aptus may use across its products and client engagements, see our Security & Privacy posture.
How long we keep it
Server logs are retained per our hosting provider’s standard retention schedule. Email correspondence is retained according to ordinary business record-keeping practice.
If you want your email correspondence deleted from our records, send us a request and we will delete what we hold from our systems, unless we need to retain it for legal, security, or ordinary business record-keeping reasons.
Your rights
Regardless of where you are based, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information we hold (subject to legal record-keeping requirements)
- Export your information in a portable format
Send the request to nima@aptusops.com. We respond within thirty (30) days.
International visitors
Our hosting infrastructure and email systems are based in the United States. If you visit aptusops.com or contact us from outside the United States, your information will be handled in the United States.
Children’s data
aptusops.com is not directed at children under thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this page.
