Aptus Ops for transaction coordinators

One place for each real-estate deal, and a way to email its fee sheet from your own Gmail address.

Aptus Ops is a web app that Aptus builds and runs for real-estate transaction coordinators and their teams. It reads a signed agreement of sale, drafts the deal for a person to check, and keeps the deal’s dates, parties, and fee sheet together, so the team works from one record instead of a pile of emails and files.

Sending email from your own Gmail

You can connect your Google account so that Aptus Ops can send email from your Gmail address. On Google’s permission screen the connection is called “Aptus Ops.” It asks for permission to send email on your behalf, plus your account’s email address so the app can show which account is connected.

Once connected, you pick a deal and a recipient, such as the buyer or seller agent, write or adjust the message, and choose whether to attach the deal’s fee sheet. The email goes out only when you click Send. It leaves from your address and lands in your own Sent folder like any email you write, and the app saves a copy on the deal as a record of what went out and when.

What it can’t do

The permission is send-only. Aptus Ops cannot open, read, search, label, or delete anything in your Gmail mailbox, and it never sends a message you didn’t send from the app.

Your data and disconnecting

The app stores an encrypted credential for sending and the address of the connected account. You can disconnect at any time, in the app or from your Google Account. Disconnecting in the app deletes the stored credential and asks Google to remove the app’s access; if Google can’t confirm, the app tells you to remove it from your Google Account. The full details are in Google user data in Aptus apps, part of our Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

Aptus Ops is available to the firms Aptus works with. Accounts are set up by Aptus for each firm’s team; there is no public signup. How Aptus protects client data is described on our Security & Privacy posture page.
